It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura, looking at the extensive vineyard plantation that he had earned, hectare after hectare, with sacrifice and dedication, decided to give new life to the fruit of his work, founding what would become one of the most important wineries in Salento.

After almost 100 years of history, in which the love for the land and the care for the vineyards have been handed down as a precious legacy from father to son, spanning four generations, Mottura is today a leading company in Salento, an Italian excellence in the world for the production of quality wines.

The Mottura company is located in Tuglie, a small town in Southern Salento. The headquarters are still the original ones, a beautiful late nineteenth-century estate with a baroque feel.

It is here that the wines slowly mature, in oak barriques and tonneaux, until they compose the aromas, colors and atmospheres of its land.
